Session preparation (5 minutes)
  • Seek out a quiet and welcoming environment, holding something that provides you with a sense of safety.
  • Allocate a brief moment to observe your breath and not think about anything.
  • Close your eyes and recognise that this environment you are entering is one of safety and security for you.
Aftercare ritual
  • Allocate a minimum of 15 minutes for organising yourself emotionally before engaging in work or other activities.
  • Hydrate, have light nourishment, and, if feasible, venture outdoors for a breath of fresh air.
  • Make note of insights or emotions that you would like to explore further in our upcoming session.
